Polygon has evolved from a family garage business in 1959 with the present generation joining the business in the early 1970`s.
During the 1960`s the family were enthusiastic motorsport supporters regularly attending the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The enthusiasm was continued by the next generation who participated in Rallying and Rallycross at this time.
Other motoring fanatics recognised the enthusiasm and appreciation within the Polygon team led by Wayne Loveland, and bought their own race and prestigious vehicles for repair to the family garage. As the reputation of Polygon grew the need to transport vehicles became paramount.Spare time at the weekend was often used in this way and Polygon were regularly attending race meetings and other events with clients` vehicles in "tow".
During the early 1980`s a breakthrough that was to change the company came when, Christies held their annual Summer Sale at Beaulieu, and Polygon were asked to prepare and transport the vehicles for this event. In recognition of our services Christies acknowledged Polygon in their catalogues, thus widening our reputation within London based Auction companies.
From this came requests from the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu to transport vehicles for the annual London-Brighton run - which we still do today. It was during this period that the classic car movement grew rapidly, with more and more auctions and events taking us to europe.
Once again our reputation preceded us and before long we had covered the whole of Europe, which enabled us to gain vast experience in Customs Documentation and European formalities.
